You don’t need to get yourself together before you come see me. That’s kind of the whole point.
My chair is where you get to sit down, exhale, hand me the problem and let somebody take care of YOU for a change.

So tell me what’s driving you crazy. Tell me what you want to change. Tell me how you want to feel when you look in the mirror.

✨ 10 YEARS OF MIRROR MIRROR ✨
Ten years ago today, I took this picture.
I had just opened Mirror Mirror Salon Studio.
I had no idea what I was doing. 😂
I had a giant ridiculous mirror, a little salon studio, a whole lot of hope, and the audacity to believe I could build something of my own.
And somehow… that girl did it.
For ten years, I've gotten to stand behind my chair and be part of your stories.
I've watched clients get married, change careers, have babies, lose people they love, start over, find themselves, reinvent themselves, and sometimes just decide they needed really fu***ng good hair.
I've laughed with you. Cried with you. Celebrated with you. And occasionally talked you out of cutting your own bangs.
Mirror Mirror has changed a LOT since this picture.
So have I.
But the heart of it hasn't.
I wanted to create a place where people could walk in, exhale, be completely themselves, and leave feeling a little more like the person they wanted to see when they looked in the mirror.
Turns out, I was building that place for myself too.
There have been plot twists. Villains. Questionable decisions. Character development. A few chapters I would happily rip out of the damn book. 😂
But there has also been so much magic.
And today, standing at 10 YEARS, I can finally look back at the girl in this picture and say:
You had absolutely no idea what was coming.
But babe… you were about to become the Main Character.

The last few weeks have felt like emotional whiplash in the strangest way. ✨

We came home from a beautiful vacation feeling rested and happy… and less than 48 hours later our world flipped upside down with F***g’s emergency surgery and recovery.

The fear, stress, sleepless nights, medication schedules, financial stress, and trying to hold life together while being terrified for a creature you love so deeply has been… a lot.

Thankfully, F***g is finally home and recovering. 🤍 But recovery is still ongoing, which means for the next 10 working days Jerry and I are working split shifts so she’s never alone too long and stays on schedule with medications, monitoring, potty breaks, and healing.

So if I seem a little slower replying, a little scattered, or scheduling takes me longer than normal, please know I am trying very hard right now.

If you’ve emailed or messaged me and haven’t heard back yet, please don’t hesitate to resend it or bump me again. Help me help you because my brain is currently running on alarms, dog meds, caffeine, and determination. 😅

And honestly… thank you. To every client who has checked on us, adjusted schedules, sent kindness, or simply continued supporting my little business during all of this — I am more grateful than I can properly put into words.

Small businesses don’t really pause during hard seasons. We just keep loving people while carrying heavy things behind the scenes.
