I have been a licensed and working Cosmetologist since 1980 and I enjoy helping people to look and feel their best. I have served as an educator for several leading companies, training other Hairdressers to hone their craft. I am a member of the Professional Beauty Association. I have been a volunteer Facilitator with the "Look Good...Feel Better" program since 2003. I am currently serving as an Area Trainer in North Carloina and have served as the Volunteer Coordinator. This program is my passion. Along with other beauty professionals, I help women cope with the appearance related effects of cancer treatment. Through skin care, makeup tips and tricks, advice on choosing and caring for wigs, scarf tying skills, and clothing choices. These women are empowered to go out in the world with their heads held high, boosting their self esteem.
