I’ll share more soon, but I couldn’t let another day go by without saying THANK YOU.
To every vendor who showed up with your passion, generosity, and heart… thank you.
To every single person who bought a ticket, brought a friend, introduced yourself to someone new, laughed, danced, sampled mocktails, supported small businesses, and helped create such an incredible atmosphere… thank you.
I felt nothing but love, good energy, and genuine connection in that room. It was one of those moments that reminded me exactly why I started Sober Sisters Events.

There was a time when I couldn’t imagine going to an event without alcohol… let alone hosting one.
Honestly, if alcohol wasn’t involved, I usually wasn’t interested. And if I did go, I felt like I was missing out—like everyone else was getting to experience the “fun” while I was somehow being robbed of it.
Fast forward 3.5 years into sobriety, and alcohol doesn’t even cross my mind when I think about having a good time.
Now I chase the things that actually fill me up: the conversations that make me think, the people who make me laugh until my stomach hurts, the experiences that challenge me, and the moments that bring genuine joy.
That’s exactly why Spirit-Free Sunday Funday means so much to me.
I want people to know you are NOT the only one looking for connection in alcohol-free spaces. There are so many of us out here, and I promise—you can have an incredible time without drinking.
Will it take a little courage to step outside your comfort zone? Maybe.
But your people are out there. And when you find them, it’s worth every ounce of bravery.
So come spend your Sunday with us. Try amazing alcohol-free drinks, listen to live music, browse local vendors, admire beautiful art, treat yourself to a mini massage, and connect with people who just get it.
Choose the kind of fun that leaves you feeling full instead of depleted.
Because my old Sunday Fundays usually turned into sloppy Mondays.

SMART Recovery USA is a nonprofit organization offering science-based, self-empowering support for people working to overcome addictive behaviors. Using tools rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational science, SMART Recovery helps individuals build and maintain positive change while meeting people exactly where they are in their journey.
Be sure to stop by and meet Stephanie Rimer, who will be representing SMART Recovery at the event! She’ll be available to answer questions about the program, explain their 4-Point Program and Family & Friends meetings, and share resources for anyone curious about recovery support.
