One of the biggest misconceptions about VA loans? 🇺🇸🏡

So many people assume they didn’t serve long enough to qualify… when they actually may.

A lot of buyers think you need:
❌ 10+ years in the military
❌ Retirement status
❌ Combat deployment

…to use a VA loan.

But in many cases, eligibility can begin much sooner than people realize.

Some veterans and service members may qualify after as little as:
• 90 days of active duty service during certain wartime periods
• 181 days during peacetime
• Or qualifying National Guard/Reserve service

And something many people don’t realize:
Even some individuals who were medically discharged early from service may still qualify for VA loan benefits depending on their circumstances.

Which means there are people walking around today assuming homeownership is out of reach… without realizing they may already have access to one of the most powerful loan programs available.

VA loans can offer:

✔️ Competitive interest rates
✔️ More flexible credit guidelines than many conventional loans
