Something You Salon & Spa

Before I owned the salon, I had a small bridal business where I did free lance hair and makeup. The name was “Something Bridal, Something You” after the popular saying “something borrowed, something blue”. I toyed with the idea of changing the name when I was opening our current location, but it really made me think about the way I want a woman to feel leaving the salon. Sometimes we fixate so hard on pictures of other women and what they have, and we forget what will serve us in our own season. Something You was the perfect name because I wanted everyone to leave feeling like a better version of themselves with hair and skin that matched their lifestyle, not the Pinterest highlight reel of someone else’s. I’m proud that my team carries out this vision every day
