A little perspective on what my workweeks look like. 💆‍♀️

I work Monday through Sunday, with some weeks lighter and some weekends much longer. On a really busy week, I can do 35–40+ massages.

But that isn't every week. I never miss my kids' birthdays, there are shorter days, family days, sick days, cancellations, vacations, and slower seasons.

This year, I'm on track for around 1,100 massages.

Spread across all 52 weeks, that's about 21 massages every single week for an entire year—and that's just hands-on massage time. It doesn't include everything that goes into owning and running the spa.

Some weeks I do more. Some weeks I do less. This is simply the average. 🤍

🌿 Four Oaks Day Spa
Central Point, Oregon

Thank you for continuing to support our small business and the wonderful professionals who work alongside us. Every appointment, share, comment, and recommendation helps our little spa continue to grow. 🤎

Today is my second day back after having to take a some time off because of some medical stuff I’ve been dealing with.

I’m not back to 100% yet, but sometimes life doesn’t give us the luxury of waiting until we feel 100% again. We get up, put our shoes on, and keep moving forward.

And when you own a small business, sometimes you have to keep moving even when your body is asking you to slow down.

Right now, Four Oaks is something I carry largely on my shoulders. For this little business to survive, I’m here seven days a week, often 12 hours a day. So when I unexpectedly have to step away for an entire week, the impact is huge.

When I have to stop and take care of myself, even for a few days, it can feel like everything we’ve worked so hard to build starts sliding backward.

So today, I’m asking our community for a little help. ❤️

And please know—support does NOT have to mean spending money.

There are so many completely FREE ways you can help Four Oaks:

• Follow our Facebook and Instagram pages
• Like and comment on our posts
• Share our posts or page
• Save our posts
• Invite your friends to follow us
• Share our website: fouroakscp.com
• Tell someone about Four Oaks Day Spa in Central Point

Every interaction helps more people discover us. We’re also working toward growing our social media enough to create another potential stream of income through Meta, and every follow, comment, share, and save helps us move closer to that goal.

I love Four Oaks. I love what we’ve created here, and I love being able to serve Central Point and Southern Oregon.

I’m going to keep showing up, keep working, and keep fighting for this little business.
I could just use a few more shoulders helping me carry it right now. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has booked, purchased a gift card, bought a raffle ticket, shared a post, left a review, recommended us, followed our pages, or simply encouraged me along the way.

Every single bit of it matters more than you probably realize.

🤣 AND AS FOR THE RANDOM "BALDERDASH!" AT THE END…

We have absolutely NO idea where that came from, but apparently the spa babies have spoken! 😂💀

No balderdash here, folks! Just $5 raffle tickets, a chance to win some relaxation, and a couple of tiny marketing managers who clearly need more supervision! 🤣💕
