Today, Bangs Salon & Spa turns 18.

It’s hard to even put into words what it feels like to say that. Eighteen years ago, we took a chance on something we believed in, without really knowing all that those next 18 years would hold.

And there has been a LOT of life lived inside these walls, and even more in our previous location.

So many people have been part of the Bangs story over the years. So many stylists, beauty professionals, friends and family members who have poured into this place and helped shape it into what it is today.

But most of all—our clients.

Some of you have been sitting in our chairs since the very beginning. You’ve trusted us with your hair, your weddings, your babies, your heartbreaks, your celebrations and all the ordinary life in between. You’ve referred your friends, brought in your daughters and your moms, supported our businesses and continued to choose us year after year.

There is simply no Bangs without you.

Owning a business for 18 years has brought some of the greatest joys, biggest lessons, hardest seasons and most meaningful relationships of our lives. And through every version of Bangs, one thing has remained incredibly clear:

We have been surrounded by really, really good people.

To every person who has ever walked through our doors, cheered us on, prayed for us, supported us, referred someone to us or simply believed in what we were building—thank you.

18 years later, we are still here. Still growing. Still learning. Still dreaming about what Bangs can become.

And incredibly grateful for everyone who helped us get here.

On Sunday August 30th, the amazing Artistry by Rachel P will be at Bangs Salon for an afternoon of cutting, styling, and answering all the questions we can think of.

She’ll be doing two full demos: a precision bob as well as a long layered cut and breaking down her thought process behind the chair when it comes to consults, cutting, products and photography.

No overcomplicating it with fancy jargon. Just her replicating what she does and explaining her why.

Tickets are $150 and spots are limited.
