At Moxie Roots, we don’t treat your head like a flat canvas. We cut and color with the curves of the head to create intentional weight, depth, movement, volume and balance.

Following the head’s natural curves allows the haircut to complement the client’s bone structure and head shape.

This is especially important with extensions, it allows us to seamlessly blend your natural hair with your extensions so they are discreet, move and fall naturally.

We carry that same intention into color, considering the curves and planes of the head to strategically place brightness, depth (illusion of volume), and dimension (highlights and lowlights).

This technique isn’t necessarily the way every stylist approaches cutting or color. It requires a deeper understanding of head shape, weight distribution, elevation, movement, and visual balance.

And that’s what we mean when we say we provide an elevated service and experience.

It’s the details you may not even realize we’re considering that make a difference in the way your hair looks, feels, blends, and grows out.

We have been blessed with Brinley’s presence for a week now and it’s safe to say she brings fun energy, positivity and an inviting warmth to MOXIE ROOTS ♥️ and let me tell you she is a NATURAL at hair😮‍💨

When I asked Brinley what her favorite part of doing hair is, she said:

“My favorite part about doing hair is getting to be creative. I love that every client is different and I get to create a look that fits them.

I really enjoy learning about color and formulations and figuring out how to get different blonde shades and looks.

I also love seeing how happy people are when they leave the salon. Making someone feel confident and good about themselves is one of my favorite parts.

I love that there is always something new to learn in the hair industry and that I can keep growing my skills.”
