If I win I will receive $13,000 and a photo shoot with Kane Hodder (who plays Jason Voorhees in many of the Friday the 13th movies)! You can vote once a day for free through Facebook or you can make a donation to the B+ children’s cancer foundation for extra votes. I’ve made it through 5 preliminary rounds…don’t let me die now!!

For those of you who knew Ms. Josephine—and I know many of you did, since I saw her almost every Friday afternoon for nearly 25 years at Toppers, Studio 40, & Razors—I thought I would post this. Josephine was truly one of a kind and one of the kindest, truest people I’ve ever met. I continued keeping in contact with her after the move to Georgia and she continued to send wonderful letters and gifts to both me and Jason. I am grateful to have had her as a friend and I’ll miss her forever. ❤️ https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/terre-haute-in/josephine-richey-10413566

I’ll be back behind the chair! Starting at Little Gem Barber Shop this week!

How many steps does it take to get a vivid color? This many! (More if you have previous color already. I did not, my starting point was natural virgin hair.) Started this process at 9 am, finished at noon. Fun stuff!

First time I’ve done hair since my last day at Razors. For those of you that don’t know, I started working at a gym here in Carrollton, GA. I’m in the process of becoming a certified personal trainer and certified for teaching group exercise. Although I like what I’m doing, I miss being in the salon. Planning on doing hair on the side so if I do anything interesting, I may still post time to time. And if y’all coming through Georgia and need a ‘do, hit me up!

After 25 years having the best clients, co-workers, bosses, and friends (because truly that's what I consider all of you) in the Terre Haute & Brazil area, I put up my shears, clippers, & wax machine for the last time today. I'm not sure if I'll continue to do this when I get to Georgia, but if I do, I can only hope to meet people half as great as I have here. I say through tears, that I am thankful for each and every one of you and I will miss you all. This would be so much easier if you all weren't so good to me. Thank you!! 🖤🖤🖤
