When I started this journey 13 years ago I never could have dreamed of the places it would take me nor the people I would meet.

As I have traversed a very strange path these last couple of years, I’ve noticed how much I miss my community. In the beginning, I did alllll the markets, from Renegade Craft to UNIQUE MARKETS. I started losing touch with Sacramento and its people. New soapers moved in and I transitioned almost completely to online sales.

And while this process works quite well for me, I miss it and have been thinking about reincorporating a few markets here and there into the folds.

So here’s my call to action: Tag all your favorite markets so I can shamelessly throw myself at them. 😂 No but seriously, if you have any faves please let me know here or in a DM.

Hello flower friends!

You may have noticed my shop is still closed. I have had a few inquiries, so I thought an actual post may bring more clarity. (TW: Motherhood)

So much of me wants to work, needs to. However our 9 month old requires most of us each day. (We have been given a beautiful little orchid child—so sensitive and bright, but needs us in ways I never knew possible. If you had one too, then you know!) So in short, we are tired. So so tired.

I had amazing plans to release a spring collection last month, but time, energy, and frankly, resources remain scarce. (You should see the price of coconut oil! 🫠)

That said, I am slowing making batches. My plans as of now are to reopen and release at the end of May. I won’t have some of my usuals simply because I cannot source the proper ingredients without paying a fortune. I will, however; have some new soaps and a few oldies that haven’t been made in a while.

I hope you’ll stick with me as I traverse this new-to-me path and all it brings. The joy, the sorrow. The beauty and the complexity. The big feels. BIG FEELS.
