Color corrections are one of my favorite parts of doing hair. 🤎

This client came in after a previous color service that left her with warm/red roots, uneven blonde throughout, and a haircut that wasn’t giving her the shape she wanted.

With a correction like this, the goal isn’t just to throw another color over everything and call it a day. We have to look at the different levels, tones, and condition of the hair and figure out how to create balance without compromising the integrity of the hair.

We worked on neutralizing the unwanted warmth, softening the blonde, and bringing everything into a more cohesive, dimensional brunette while also giving her a fresh shape with the cut.

Balayage will always be one of my specialties, but I genuinely love color corrections because you get to see such a noticeable change — not just in the hair, but in how someone feels when they leave your chair. 🤍
