A little bittersweet news 🤍

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided that November 13th will be my last day behind the chair at Shear Vogue for a while.

My future husband and I are taking the next year or so to travel and explore as much of the United States as we can. It’s something we’ve dreamed about, and while I’m so excited for this next chapter, leaving this part of my life is definitely bittersweet.

I don’t think I can fully put into words how grateful I am for my time at Shear Vogue. To everyone who has taught me, encouraged me, believed in me, and helped me grow into the stylist I am today, thank you. I’m incredibly thankful for the people I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside and for the salon that gave me a place to grow.

And to my clients, thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your hair, for sitting in my chair over and over again, for recommending me to your friends and family, for letting me be a small part of your lives, and for continuing to show up for me. Your support has meant more to me than you probably realize, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without you. I’ve gotten to know so many of you, hear about your lives, and build relationships that I’ll carry with me long after I leave the salon. This isn’t goodbye. It’s just a see you later.

I plan to come back after our travels and get back behind the chair, so I’m not closing the door on this chapter forever. I’m just stepping away for a little while to go make some memories with my new husband and take advantage of the opportunities his job gives us.

I’ll be spending the next few weeks soaking up every appointment, conversation, laugh, and hug that I can. If you’d like to get in before my last day, please reach out to get on my schedule.
