But what they don’t always see is everything that happens beyond the chair.

I celebrate engagements, weddings, pregnancies, new jobs, and fresh starts. I hold space through heartbreak, loss, divorce, illness, and the moments when life feels impossibly heavy. I’ve watched clients grow up, become parents, chase dreams, and reinvent themselves. Somehow, through it all, they continue to trust me with not only their hair, but pieces of their lives.

Being a hairstylist means wearing so many hats—artist, educator, problem solver, business owner, listener, and friend. It’s long days on my feet, constant learning, and pouring my heart into every person who sits in my chair.

So no… it’s never been just about hair.

It’s about human connection. It’s about helping people see the beauty in themselves, even on the days they can’t see it on their own.

Would you believe that this clients hair is naturally very textured, frizzy & curly? Taming frizzy hair has always been a struggle for me but finding the right concoction of products customized for each clients hair type is key!

First treated wjth ✨ beautiful things ✨ chelating spray and shampoo

Next washed with essential haircare love curl shampoo & conditioner

Then styled with the love curl milk, love smoothing heat protectant, more inside medium hold molding gel, and finally nounou oil once her hair was about 80% dry.

I used a boar bristle round brush, and Just briefly flat ironed a few stubborn curly areas around her hairline.
Final finishing spray with more inside shimmer mist 🫶🏼
