Well that’s a wrap!! I get to be in the chair now, not behind it. I am so grateful for my 20+ year career! Everything and everyone in the journey has helped make me who I am today and I am proud of my accomplishments. A new path forward is exciting, scarey and alot of work but much like the Monarch Butterfly I admire so much, my journey continues to help me transform into the next best version of myself just like I wish for all of you. Please continue to be kind, follow your heart and be LOUD. LIVE LOUD. LOVE LOUD. Protect your peace and health at all costs. This is my wish for you. Love and respect to all. 🌻

So after yesterday’s post, the texts and messages of how to help were somewhat overwhelming. Thank you all so much looking to give me a “retirement gift” as this was unexpected and help with my now medical expenses. I will also be having an end of business sale to get ride of inventory. Thank you all so much for your support and I can not put into words how grateful I am. I wasnt sure to post this but at the encouragement of some of my wonderful guests/friends who know I would never ask this is the compromise. THANK YOU!!!☺️

PLEASE READ! You don’t always get to pick how or when or why things happen. My Mommom used to say “You plan and God laughs”. Well, that is definitely one of the truest words ever spoken. My left arm went out last week, ended up in the ER, now the orthopedic doctor today. This isnt the first time this arm has decided to quit, but I refuse to let it be the final. I pushed it to the max. Permanent pain and damage is not what I want. I have loved being behind the chair for the last 20+ years. It has been the experiences that has gotten me through some of the best and worst times of my life. Being a hairstylist has allowed me to travel and meet people I would never had. I am so grateful to the incredible people that continue to have my back in what should be a devastating time of “abrupt retirement” but they just wont allow that. My people continue to show up, give me strength and encouragement to the next chapter. I had my eyes set to the future already, I just didnt know it was on the very next horizon. With that effective immediately, Monarch salon is closed. I will have a sale soon to clear out inventory. Please know how grateful I am to have been behind the chair with so many of you. Thank you! 💜🌻

Thank you so much to all my incredible guests this year! You have been amazing! Some of you have held my hand for some of the hardest times in my life. Some of you are new and I am so grateful for the joy that you have already brought to my life! There is a lot going on in this crazy world and please feel free to message me with anything you need and we can discuss it privately. I know the times are hard, but we can work things out. There’s no reason to make yourself feel bad or let your kids think that things are worse than they are because they can’t go to their normal stylist or treated to their normal experiences at the holiday time. Sometimes getting a fresh haircut or your roots refreshed can be a huge mind frame change. The conversation, and my door is always open. 🌻🤜🏼🤛🏼😉

Breaking up is always hard. I understand times are hard out there. People are putting their opinions out there and they’re harsh. I have to say, though as much as I cried this morning. When I got this text message from someone who I do truly adore and will miss I respect her directness,and I appreciate her not ghosting me. Allowing me to better myself, allowing me to better my business and allowing me to make room for people who do want me as a whole and believe in my skills. Yes I did share sentiment on my personal fb about 2 shootings that day.
