It’s Warrior Wednesday. 🤍

And apparently my Warriors have decided that if I won’t let them pay me, they’re going to find other ways to spoil me. 😂

I’ve received the sweetest cards and little gifts along the way, and I genuinely LOVE seeing what people bring me. Every card gets read for the first time on camera, every note gets saved, and every little gesture means more to me than I can explain.

Because Warrior Wednesday was never supposed to fill my bank account.

It’s supposed to fill my heart.

This little initiative exists to help women feel whole again after everything their bodies have carried them through. Getting to give someone that final piece of their reconstruction, hear their stories, hug them, laugh with them and occasionally get surprised with a little gift in return…that’s the kind of payment you can’t put a number on.

And Warrior Wednesday just keeps growing. 🥹

I’m incredibly grateful to now be receiving referrals through Corewell Health Betty Ford Breast Care Services, in addition to the incredible people and organizations who continue to share this program with women who may need it. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I’d love to do more of these! They’re definitely a challenge, but there’s something oddly peaceful about watching all those tiny details come together into the finished piece.

Another Warrior Wednesday client found her way to me through Phyllis, who has become one of the biggest cheerleaders for both me and this mission. It feels like every Warrior Wednesday, she’s connected me with another woman who could benefit from what I offer, and I genuinely don’t have the words for how much that means to me.

Phyllis also volunteers with Shields of Hope, a West Michigan nonprofit I absolutely adore that surrounds people affected by cancer and their families with hope, encouragement and support throughout their journey.

I’m forever grateful that Warrior Wednesday has connected me not only with these incredible women, but with people like Phyllis who continue to advocate for them long after their own appointment is over. Thank you for trusting me, talking about this mission, and helping the right people find their way to my chair. 🖤
