Healing On Purpose
This page is about my personal journey in healing after hair loss. It has been life changing for me. I was given the assignment to share my story with you.
To help build a community that focuses on building and restoring your confidence.
Some of us aren’t exhausted because we’re busy.
We’re exhausted because we’ve been pretending for too long.
Pretending we’re okay.
Pretending we’re happy.
Pretending we don’t feel lonely while lying beside someone every night.
Healing began for me the day I stopped performing for everyone else and started listening to myself.
Protect your peace.
Set the boundary.
Choose yourself.
If this message found you today, leave a ❤️ or comment “I choose me.” I’d love to know who’s walking this healing journey with me.

Welcome to Healing on Purpose—where we’re learning that healing begins at home, starts within, and is served one beautiful moment at a time.
Welcome to Healing on Purpose.
If you’re new here, I’m so glad you found this space.
This isn’t just a cooking channel. This isn’t just about recipes. This is a place where we’re learning how to heal, how to slow down, and how to love ourselves… on purpose.
For so many years, I poured into everyone else. I made sure everyone around me was okay, while quietly forgetting about me.
Today is different.
Today, I’m choosing myself.
I’m home alone, the music is playing, the house is quiet, and instead of rushing through another day, I’m creating a moment that belongs to me.
On today’s menu, I’m making a simple teriyaki chicken and shrimp stir-fry over a bed of brown rice, along with a refreshing pineapple lemonade that’s become one of my favorite little treats.
But this meal represents something much bigger.
Every time I chop the vegetables…
Every time I season the food…
Every time I stir the pan…
I’m reminding myself that healing doesn’t always happen in the big moments.
Sometimes healing happens in the ordinary.
It happens in the quiet.
It happens when you finally stop waiting for someone else to choose you…
…and you choose yourself.
I’ve learned that loving yourself isn’t always glamorous.
Sometimes it looks like cleaning your home.
Sometimes it looks like turning your favorite music on.
Sometimes it looks like cooking yourself a healthy meal instead of grabbing something quick because you think you’re not worth the effort.
Today, I decided that I am worth the effort.
I deserve nourishment.
I deserve peace.
I deserve moments that refill my own cup.
And maybe that’s why you’re here today.
Maybe life has been heavy.
Maybe you’ve spent years carrying everyone else’s needs while your own heart quietly waited for its turn.
If that’s you…
I want you to know something.
You are worthy of your own love.
You don’t have to earn rest.
You don’t have to apologize for taking care of yourself.
You don’t have to feel guilty for creating a life that brings you peace.
Healing starts with the small decisions we make every single day.
As for this pineapple lemonade…
It’s sweet…
It’s refreshing…
It’s one of those simple little joys that reminds me life doesn’t have to be complicated to be beautiful.
Sometimes all we need is good food, a quiet house, our favorite music, and permission to simply exist.
Now, before anyone asks…
Yes, I made enough to fix my husband a plate before he gets home.
Because choosing myself doesn’t mean I stop loving the people around me.
It means I finally learned that I deserve the same love I’ve always been so willing to give away.
That’s what Healing on Purpose means to me.
Finding balance.
Loving others…
Without abandoning yourself.
If you’ve been searching for a place where healing is real…
Where the conversations are honest…
Where we’re learning to become the healthiest version of ourselves—mind, body, and spirit…
Then I hope you’ll stay.

Keep healing.
Keep growing.
And most importantly…
Keep choosing yourself… on purpose.
