And honestly, that's much more common than most people realize.

𝙈𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙗𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙙𝙤 𝙤𝙧 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢, and that's exactly why I love offering personal makeup lessons.

She's a busy business owner and mom to a little one, so 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙜𝙤𝙖𝙡 𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙖 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙚. She wanted something 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡, 𝙥𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 - whether she is spending the day with her family or meeting with vendors.

𝘽𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙙, we went through the products she brought with her, color matched them to her skin, and talked through any questions she had so she felt confident knowing what would work best for her - before moving on to application.

Her typical makeup routine consisted of foundation, eyeliner, and blush. 𝙎𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙣 𝙚𝙮𝙚𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙬, 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙧, 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙯𝙚𝙧, 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙧, 𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙚𝙮𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙨, so it was such a joy to introduce those steps in a way that still felt like her.

This reel is just 20 minutes of an entire makeup lesson, sped up into 1 minute - because unfortunately I haven't unlocked the "2x speed feature" in real life yet 😂

My client shared that she doesn't usually wear bronzer, blush, highlighter, or fill in her brows, so I loved showing her how those little details can bring the entire look together in a way that still feels like her. 🤍

As a busy mom & business woman, her goal was a makeup routine she could do in 10 minutes each morning. While I created a complete look she can wear for work events or special occasions, I also showed her simple adjustments to make it more everyday-friendly so she can get out the door quickly without sacrificing confidence.
