Flashback to San Francisco!

As I have successfully transitioned back behind the chair in a new town, and stepping into a new role I can't help but feel absolutely grateful to have crossed paths with this wonderful man 10 years ago!

I didn't imagine how life changing an emailed response would be. From my very first week as his associate to the very last week we worked together 6 years later, John was always so open and genuine when it came to his mentorship. Not only did he teach me technical skills to become successful behind the chair, he took the time to teach me to look at my business as a whole. His guidance over the years have allowed me to keep moving forward and progressing while keeping open communication even years after branching off on my own.

Today I choose to post about him and not an after photo like so many I share because he was and continues to be a foundational pillar in my career. I am so grateful for the many years of instruction that he gave me.

I wouldn't have gotten as far as I have in my career without you John, and I am so grateful that our paths crossed 😊

We added soft dimension to her previously colored hair by strategically placing lowlights and shifting her root one level deeper for a seamless grow-out.

The lighting.

One was taken inside the studio, the other in natural light. Hair color reflects light differently depending on the environment, which is why it can appear warmer, cooler, lighter, or deeper.

​We tailored this cut specifically to her daily routine and hair goals. By removing the excess weight that was dragging things down and melting in some soft, face-framing layers, we created a look that is light, effortless, and completely fresh.

Growth never stops, and neither does my commitment to giving my guests the best experience possible.

With over 10 years behind the chair, I still invest in continued education to refine my skills, learn new techniques, and stay inspired. While mannequin work has its place, the real magic happens when there's a connection with another human being. That's where creativity, customization, and confidence come to life.

Model Mondays will give me the opportunity to create new haircut and color techniques while offering models a professional salon experience at a minimal cost to cover product and overhead expenses.

✨ I'm looking for models who:

• Are comfortable being photographed and filmed.
• Are open to haircut and/or color projects.
• Understand that before & after photos and videos will be shared on my social media.

Every model will receive a complimentary consultation beforehand to make sure they're the right fit for that week's project.
