PACHUCA CHICANA

A visual study of heritage, femininity, and rebellion.

The Pachucas of the 1940s were Mexican-American women who embraced bold fashion, dramatic hair, makeup, and the zoot-suit culture, challenging expectations of how Mexican-American women were supposed to look and behave.

Their exaggerated zoot-suit-inspired silhouettes became more than fashion. They were a visible expression of cultural identity, pride, and resistance in a society that often demanded assimilation.

Decades later, Chicana identity became a powerful expression of cultural pride and self-definition.

This collection isn't a recreation of one era.
It's my interpretation of the threads connecting them.

The past becomes inspiration.
Heritage becomes presence.
The woman becomes her own statement.

Pachuca by spirit.
Chicana by heritage.
Modern by design.

And with that, we’re bringing this artistic collection full circle.

We explored women’s styling, men’s styling, and now bring the two together. Each look challenging me to think differently about structure, texture, movement, proportion and finish.

That’s what I love most about artistic work. It gives us the freedom to step outside the limitations of the everyday appointment, experiment, and see what our hands and minds can create.

The lessons don’t stay on the photoshoot floor. Every collaboration and every challenge adds another layer to my craft. Something I can bring behind the chair and into the experience I create for my guests.

Different hair. Different techniques. Same artistry.
