Based in LA, Alison Saar sculpts powerful totemic figures from found wood, tin, and urban detritus, exploring Black female identity, heritage, and the spiritual traditions of the African diaspora.

Desmond Beach is a New York-based artist working across fiber, sculpture, and installation, crafting sacred spaces that confront slavery, Jim Crow, and Black American history.

Connecticut-based Deborah Dancy creates large-scale oil abstract paintings and mixed-media works. She’s stated that her paintings are about “color, surprise, absurdity and encounters with the self.”
