My beautiful best friend is expecting a baby boy in November! I had the pleasure to do her hair and makeup for her maternity pictures!💙

This was supposed to be a full highlight with a shadow root. It was done yesterday (not by me obviously.) This is what she came to me looking like today. Poor thing has homecoming this weekend and senior portraits in 2 weeks. I wanted to cry for her.
I did the best I could do and not cause any further damage to her hair. I didn’t get an after picture because I wasn’t supposed to work today and was in a time crunch. She had to leave my salon with wet hair, but she messaged me and said it looked great. Poor thing was almost in tears while i was doing her hair.

Idk how this stylist could sleep last night knowing he let her leave like this. I would be SICK! It’s one thing to have a few over processed hairs around the face or something but the whole head?! And not even blended? And then charge $165!! Uh uhhhhh😵🙅‍♀️

I’m not bashing anyone! I won’t even be releasing the name of the salon to anyone (it’s not local to me) but this is ridiculous. Some people are just money hungry. There’s no way I would have ever charged her for this work. Yall stay safe out there!!

Full circle moment today! Amelia was my first ever client to do highlights on while I was in school. I got to do her hair again today. It definitely made me thankful for my business and how hard I’ve worked to build it from the ground up! 💛

The only bad thing about having a mostly blonde clientele is when everyone else is booked up bc their clients are wanting Fall hair; I’m slow bc I’ve been foiling my back out all summer long.🤣
