Another before and after, first time client! She had been wanting dimension and grey coverage, but her base was just way too dark, and it looked like she had been not receiving highlights throughout her entire head like she’d been asking for. Super happy with our first session! We did a full highlight , a grey coverage base in a lighter level , and a lowlight through the ends so it didn’t end up too blonde! Plus a cute long bob with texture ! Thankful for all of the referrals lately!

We got this sweet girl all freshened up for Hawaii 🌺 highlights, root smudge and tone, paired with a healthy cut!

If you need me and my services don’t meet your budget, feel free to reach out to see if there’s anything we can do. Bills are highhh for everyone. I don’t want you walking around with ugly hair that you paid hundreds for! Maybe we do a partial highlight, maybe just a toner in between appointments.

What snacks/drinks do you guys want stocked in my new salon suite ? I have a mini fridge and I will have a snack bar!

Hey everyone! As we prepare for a few changes , here’s a few friendly reminders :
*If you arrive before your scheduled time, please remain in your vehicle and simply text me when you arrive. I will let you know when I’m ready for you, my new space will not have a large waiting area, so let’s please implement this asap. Sometimes I arrive early to eat my breakfast, get my station set up, reply to clients etc. Your time frame is based on the appointment space you book.

* if you book a service, and arrive and need less services, you will still be responsible to pay for the services you booked

*if I’ve been SUPER sweet and I haven’t been charging you for your add on services such as beard details, waxes, etc. this will be in full effect immediately.

*NO VA**NG* feel free to v**e before and after your appointment, not in the salon.

* if you have a service booked and have a child/children -
If the child is also receiving a service they are welcome to accompany you, but they need to be the age that they can sit down quietly without getting into things for 30 minutes. If not, please bring another adult and have them wait in your vehicle.

If the child is not getting a service - please find another adult to accompany them either in your vehicle or find a sitter.

During a color service/ or longer services other than a quick men’s cut- no other guests are allowed.

* late cancellation/no show polices in full effect as you see them online when you book.

*referrals - reminder I do not take on any new referrals if they still need a booster chair / or if they need evening appointments. But thank you for all of the referrals and love !

🚨 Hey everyone! I am excited to announce I will be at a new location starting Monday June 29th! I will be at vivid beauty studio, just 1 mile west of my current location! I will have my own suite and I’m super excited to create this space for all of you! I’m very thankful for the last 6 years at Solid Ground and they will always be family! My new address will be 2010 W Houston St.

Super big and exciting changes coming up in the next month! Stay tuned ..

I DONT ROOT SHADOW/SMUDGE!
Here’s my why: I do very tedious foils, clear to the scalp, and most of my highlights come in every 6/8 weeks. If I’m adding a dark root, then we have to battle that warmth at your roots every single appointment, which will be more costly for you.

I get it, social media likes to tell you what to tell us what to do. Trust your stylist.

Here’s when you would be a good candidate for a root shadow….
You like the “shadow” look at your root area.
You budget for 2-3 appointments a year, and want a “not freshly highlighted look”.
Here’s what else to expect: you will have a higher price point for a highlight with a rooted look simply based on time and processes.

BOTH are totally okay and doable! I will ask many questions to see what fits you, your lifestyle, and budget the best!
