WHY YOU WON’T BUY MARY KAY #2:

“I don’t want you to feel pressured to buy just because we are acquaintances/ friends/ family.”

I don’t want you to think every compliment will lead to a product recommendation.

I don’t want to answer one question about your skin and suddenly you feel like you’re trapped in a sales conversation.

I don’t want you to buy a lipstick and wonder if I’ve accidentally signed up for a lifetime of follow-up texts. 😂

And I definitely don’t want to feel like our relationship is dependent on whether or not your buy something.

There’s a difference between helping someone buy something they want and trying to convince someone to want something you sell.

There’s a difference between following up and chasing.

There’s a difference between making a recommendation and creating pressure.

I sell Mary Kay. Of course I want to sell products. It’s a business. But part of that business is that I get to help women look and feel beautiful!! Mary Kay isn’t for everyone, but if you never try it you will never know!!

But I never want you wondering:
“Is she talking to me because she likes me… or because she wants something from me?” I love people and I’m going to be your friend either way!!!

My goal is much simpler:
Be useful. Know my stuff. Tell you the truth. Make a recommendation when you want one.

Sometimes it means Mary Kay isn’t the answer.

That’s okay. I’m still going to love you!!

Because I’d rather earn your trust than force a transaction.!!

“Mary Kay is too expensive.” 💸

Okay. Maybe it is. Maybe it isn’t!!!

But my question is… compared to WHAT? 🤔

Because expensive and overpriced are two very different things.

Are we comparing it to the $8 moisturizer at the drugstore? The $85 serum at Sephora? Or the $200 worth of products sitting in your bathroom that you bought because somebody on TikTok told you to? 😩

Here's what I've learned in the few months I’ve been a beauty consultant

😳The most expensive product is the one you buy and never use.

🤪 A lower price doesn't automatically mean a better value. And a higher price doesn't automatically mean better results.

🙃 You don't need EVERY product. You need the RIGHT products for your skin, your goals, and your budget.

That's where I come in.

My job isn't to convince you to spend more money. It's to help you spend your money Wise.

Because I don't think everyone needs a $300 skincare routine. But I DO think everyone needs a skincare routine and you deserve to know what you’re putting on your face, why you’re using it, and what you can realistically expect from it.
