Congratulations to our September $500 Marlene Correa Foundation Scholarship recipient, Dayonna Clark!

Dayonna shared that her love for nails began when she was just six years old, when she created her first little nail salon in the hallway of her apartment building. Over the years, nail art became more than something she loved—it became a place of peace, creativity, and healing, especially after losing her mother.

One line from her application stood out to us: “I’ve never wanted anything more than this.”

That passion, determination, and hunger to build a future for herself are exactly what this scholarship is meant to support.

We are proud to award Dayonna $500 toward her education and to be a small part of the journey toward the career she has dreamed about for so long.
