Today was one of those days that reminded me WHY I love what I do!

Getting to bring complimentary education into cosmetology schools and pour into the next generation of stylists is something I genuinely believe in. Because education is not just about learning a technique or knowing a product- it is about building confidence, creating opportunities, and giving stylists the tools to build a career they are proud of.

And today, hearing an instructor say that the fundamentals I was teaching felt important enough for her to stop and listen… it just hit differently.

It reminded me that this work is bigger than me, and honestly, bigger than the product.

It is about the people behind the chair.
It is about the future of our industry.
And it is about helping stylists learn, grow, earn, and enjoy the careers they have worked so hard to build.

Feeling really grateful to be a small part of that 🫶

How are we using AI in the salon?

We all know how often things can get lost in translation during a consultation. A client can explain what they are envisioning, we can think we understand each other, and somehow we still end up with two completely different pictures in our heads.

What if AI could help bridge that gap?

Imagine being able to take what your client is describing and create a *visual starting point* for the conversation- “Is this what you mean?” “Are we in the right direction?” “What do you like or not like about this?”

Of course, it is not a crystal ball. Hair doesn’t always behave exactly like an AI-generated image, and there are a million variables we can not predict. But as a **consultation tool to help communicate ideas and set expectations?** I think there’s something really interesting there.

HELP!!!
After being on leave and basically giving my hair the entire summer off I’m officially back to work… which means it’s time to get this hair back in action!!!
I gave it a much-needed break from heat styling, products, and all the things this summer. Lots of air-drying, braids, messy buns, and letting it just BE. And honestly? It was kind of nice. 🤍
But now that I am back to work I am ready to start styling again and I just did a little SalonCentric restock of some of my current favorites- Right now I will be rotating between ABC + All Soft shampoo and conditioner, and I have already been using the Acidic Bonding Concentrate Leave-In Treatment all summer- even when I was air-drying or throwing my hair into a braid!
A few other products I am loving right now made the cut too, and I am excited to actually start putting them back to work!
BUT… I need your help.
I am officially in the market for a new curling iron and I feel completely overwhelmed- there are SO many good ones out there that I genuinely need public opinion at this point!
