My sweet angel baby crossed the rainbow bridge today.
She made it to 12 but declined quickly.
I love her more than anything so I knew I had to act quickly—I couldn’t let her live uncomfortably.

Her last moments were at home, in her bed, in the sun with the breeze from the screen door on her, surrounded by love and affection. But not before she could howl at a fire truck one last time 🥹

My absolute best friend, homie, princess, boo-boo, honey BABY. I love you forever and our souls will be together forever. May your pain be gone, and you be with all your family and friends again. Run free 🌈👼🏻

Tomorrow I say goodbye to my soul dog.

My first on my own child. My second baby. The one that’s seen the moments no one else has. The moves. The career changes. School. Friends. Family. Boys. All the seasons. Ups. Downs. Pivotal life moments.

I spent her birthday weekend with her. It was not fun. I learned she had cancer on a Thursday, and by her birthday Saturday and was mediocre at best.

I made the decision to pull the plug sooner than later as I don’t want to see her live another day like this.

Hold your fur babies tight, trust your instincts, love hard.
