As we kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re honored to spotlight an incredible woman in our community, Jen Willard, founder of JWill Pink Village, Inc. 💗

Jen is a proud 10-year breast cancer survivor. After being diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer at just 41, she underwent a double mastectomy, additional surgeries and months of recovery.

During that journey, one small act of kindness stayed with her: a handmade heart-shaped pillow given to her as she left the hospital. It attached to her seatbelt and provided comfort during the many rides to and from medical appointments.

Jen turned that kindness into a movement.

Through JWill Pink Village, volunteers lovingly create these special pillows for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients, survivors and thrivers. Since 2017, more than 10,000 pillows have been distributed across the U.S. and beyond. 💕
