It all started in 2018. I wanted a career change, and career change I got! Poker dealer to PMU artist!!

Anyway, I got into the industry offering Microblading, then in 2020 when the world shut down, I learned and mastered nano brows. I was the 1st in WA state to offer nano, as many others thought it was going to be a “trend. Well, 6 year later everyone wants nano and everyone doing their research gets nano instead of microblading!

While some artists are just learning, I’ve got 6 years and 1000s of nano clients under my belt!

🤷🏻‍♀️After thinking about this more, it IS missing the challenge (and excitement)..... here's what I think | mean by that.....

In the beginning of starting a business, coming from zero business background, literally everything has a learning curve. You are googling and using YouTube to teach yourself how to set up Acuity Software. You are making accounts at DOL, DOR, learning taxes, filing taxes, uploading documents, building websites, making business google accounts, heck last week I learned how to make a email signature with my headshot. Oh yah, I had to make headshots as well....

There is this weird feeling i get AFTER accomplishing something I don't know how to do. First I'm overwhelmed, maybe even frustrated, then I learn, then I feel great about it when I'm done. It's like adding a new skill to my resume that I taught myself, and that's a good feeling. I skill I've learned and no one can take away!!!

When you first start your business, there's a LOT of that happening. When you stick with it, don't give up, that feeling is very rewarding and many times I miss it!!!!

So what do you think? I'm I crazy or do my long term PMU artists feel the same way!?

A video made a while back due to the fact I see HORRIBLE BBP safety on social media regularly. So, while scrolling the gram today, I was once again disappointed (and terrified) how uneducated some PMU artists are. This is more than just "bad brows", this could affect clients heath and should be taken very seriously.

Remember, the SECOND you break skin or touch something contaminated, you must pretend your gloves are coved in Bl00d, and cannot touch anything you're not supposed to!

Also, please do not clean up your room with the SAME gloves you broke down the room with. That makes no sense.
