At Shangri-La Springs, our four-acre USDA Certified Organic garden plays an important role in what you experience at Harvest & Wisdom.

Cultivated using organic methods and permaculture principles, the garden focuses on biodiversity, healthy soil, and responsible water conservation while producing a seasonal variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Tomatoes, eggplant, kale, carrots, onions, collard greens, peppers, and even organic loofah are among the produce grown on our historic property.

Much of the seasonal harvest travels just steps from the garden to Harvest & Wisdom, where our culinary team transforms fresh ingredients into vibrant, thoughtfully prepared dishes.

At Harvest & Wisdom, every meal offers a connection to the land, the season, and the ingredients grown right here at Shangri-La Springs.

Sip, Shop, & Support Fashion Show is coming to Shangri-La Springs!

Join us Sunday, October 11th from 2 PM to 5 PM for an afternoon of fashion, shopping, and community while supporting The Shelter for Abused Women & Children.

Starting in October, join us for guided tours that offer a closer look at the stories, landscapes, and traditions that make Shangri-La Springs unique.

Guided History Tours take you through the captivating past of our historic property. Learn about the native Calusa tribe who used the mineral spring hundreds of years ago, hear about Ponce de Leon’s visit in the early 1500s, and discover stories of the famous guests who have visited our hotel throughout its 100+ year history.

Guided History Tours are offered Tuesdays from 10 AM to 11 AM from October through May. Tickets are $20 + tax per person.

Organic Garden Tours offer a guided walk through our four-acre USDA Certified Organic garden, featuring lush subtropical and tropical plantings, seasonal crops, and a productive orchard. Learn about our organic growing methods and permaculture principles while exploring the garden and its thriving ecosystem.

Organic Garden Tours are offered Thursdays from 10 AM to 11 AM beginning October 6th. Tours are limited to 20 guests and cost $20 + tax per person.
