Five Years in the Making 🤍

This month marks 5 years of Catalina Esthetics. When I first started, I had zero clientele and so much uncertainty about whether I would actually be able to make this work. There were days in the beginning when I would drive all the way from Beaufort to Bluffton just to see one client. It was slow, it was challenging, and there were plenty of moments when I seriously questioned whether I should keep going.

But I kept pushing forward with the constant support of my husband and family, and with a commitment to always provide my clients with great service and an experience they would want to come back to.

Looking back, I truly believe that commitment made the difference. The clients who continued coming back, month after month and year after year, became the backbone of my business. My returning clients are the reason Catalina Esthetics has been able to grow, and I will never take that for granted.

Growing Along the Way ✨

One thing I’ve learned over the past five years is that building a business is about so much more than gaining clients. It’s about constantly learning, adapting, and figuring out what kind of business you truly want to create.

Over the years, I’ve continued investing in my education, expanding my knowledge of skincare and ingredients, refining my techniques, and becoming more intentional about the services I offer. My business today looks very different from when I first started, and I’m proud of that. I’ve learned what I love doing, what I want to specialize in, and what kind of experience I want to create.

Whether you’ve been coming to me for years or you’re a newer client, I hope you can feel the care I put into what I do. From the services I provide to the products I choose to carry, I want everything about Catalina Esthetics to feel thoughtful and intentional.

Five years in, I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve built and excited to continue learning and growing from here.

A Quick Reminder About Cancellations
With the holiday season being such a busy time, I kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling to avoid the cancellation fee.

I understand that things come up, but please be mindful that last-minute changes make it difficult to offer those appointment times to other clients who may be waiting for an opening. I will be strictly adhering to my cancellation policy, especially during the holiday season.

Starting this month, all facial guests can enjoy a complimentary scalp massage during their treatment.

I'll be using a nourishing Black Castor Oil Hair Treatment to help hydrate the scalp while creating an even more relaxing experience.

If you'd like to enjoy this add-on, I recommend coming in with unwashed hair and planning to wear your hair in a bun or braid afterward. You can leave the oil in for the rest of the day or even overnight for maximum benefits.

Prefer not to have oil in your hair? No problem! A traditional dry scalp massage is also available and just as relaxing.

June is here, which means we’re officially in one of my busiest seasons of the year! With summer schedules filling quickly, I highly recommend pre-booking your appointments in advance to secure your preferred date and time.

A quick friendly reminder:
I do require a minimum of 24 hour notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests to avoid the cancellation fee.

This is especially important for facial appointments, as these services require me to reserve well over an hour in my schedule. While 24 hours is the minimum required notice, additional notice is always greatly appreciated whenever possible.

Giving this notice not only helps me manage my schedule efficiently, but also allows clients on my waitlist the opportunity to book those openings.

A little real-life skin update.
