A little hair care routine featuring some of my absolute favorite milk_shake products, because obviously! 🥛✨

First up, the OG, milk_shake leave in conditioner! Personally, my absolute go-to favorite. We’re getting those milk proteins that help strengthen the hair, along with honey that’s adding shine and protection. There’s a reason this one has been a staple in my routine for YEARS!

Then I’m coming in with my absolute CLUTCH from the Volume & Body line, Liquid Styler! The glazing, the texture, the MEMORY TECHNOLOGY! Honestly, this product blows my mind every single time. My hair looks incredible all day long, and when I tell you this goes in every single person’s hair that sits in my chair, I mean EVERY SINGLE PERSON. I love it that much!

Next up, Shaping Foam! Because your girl has fine, flat, straight hair, and we’re going to need a little help in the volume and texture department. 😂 Give me some body, give me some movement, give me something to work with!

Last but definitely not least, Smoothing Miracle Shield! We’re talking heat protection, humidity protection, AND shine! I absolutely love adding this into my routine because not only am I protecting my hair from the heat I’m about to put on it, but I’m also helping keep that humidity from ruining all my hard work. And the shine? Beautiful!

A little blow-dry, a little round brush, and PERFECTION! Or at least as close as we’re getting to it. 😂

Here’s the thing, good hair doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s about understanding your hair, choosing the right products, and knowing how to use them. A few minutes, a handful of my favorites, and we’re out the door!

And yes, I really do use what I teach. 💛

Today I got a text…one of my fave gals…her sister needed a bit of help. We are not talking badly about anyone…mistakes happen.

If 2016 me met 2026 me…she wouldn’t even believe what I had to say.

I didn’t even know Kris in 2016. I had never left the country, I really hadn’t traveled much at all…and I definitely had no idea what the next 10 years were going to look like.

And the entire time we were on vacation I just kept thinking about how proud I am of myself. And how proud I am of Kris. For how far we’ve come in life, how far I’ve come in life, and this incredibly beautiful family we have been fighting for since day one. Life has absolutely put us through the trials and tribulations…but somehow we always seem to come out of it better than we were before.

In 10 years I’ve been to nine countries. I started educating for a brand that I genuinely love. I built a salon home in an amazing space with an incredibly talented group of women. I’ve gotten to travel all over Illinois and Indiana educating salons, meeting so many people and doing something that 2016 me probably wouldn’t have even known to dream about yet.

And obviously there is SO much more that happened in between all of that…the good, the bad, the really fu***ng hard, the beautiful, the things that completely changed us.

Sometimes when you’re in the middle of living your life you don’t really see how far you’ve come because you’re already thinking about what’s next.

But looking back at the last 10 years and seeing how the story has unfolded is really something.

2016 me would have a million questions…but I think more than anything…she would be really fu***ng proud of me. And I’m damn proud of her too!! 💛🧡💛🧡
