Want the smoothest, happiest skin after your wax? 🤍 Here’s your little pre-wax checklist!
🧼 Come with clean skin
Skip the lotions, oils, and heavy creams the day of your appointment.
🪒 DON’T shave!
Let that hair grow out! Ideally, you want about ¼ inch of growth (roughly 2–3 weeks after shaving) so the wax has something to grab.
🧽 Gently exfoliate beforehand
Light exfoliation 24–48 hours before your appointment can help remove dead skin and prevent ingrowns. Just don’t overdo it!
💧 Hydrate your skin
Moisturize regularly leading up to your appointment—but skip moisturizer on the day of your wax.
☀️ Avoid sun exposure
Try to avoid tanning or getting sunburned before your appointment. Sunburned skin should NEVER be waxed!
👖 Wear loose, comfy clothing
Especially for a Brazilian or bikini wax! Your skin will thank you. 🤍
