The time has come! Enrollment is now open for our next Kinroot School of Herbalism cohort level one, beginning January 2027!
From January through May, we will gather one Wednesday evening each month in communion with the plants, cultivating a deeper understanding of herbal medicine through traditional wisdom, modern science, thoughtful discussion, and hands-on experiences.
Designed for those beginning their journey into herbal medicine, this five-month immersion introduces foundational herbal knowledge, plant identification, traditional preparations, and the art of cultivating a personal relationship with the plants. No prior experience is necessary, only curiosity and a willingness to learn.
Our classroom is a place for connection, exploration, and community, where knowledge is cultivated through both study and experience. All course materials are provided, and payment plan options are available.
Space is intentionally limited to preserve the intimate nature of our gatherings, and several seats have already been spoken for.
If you feel called to begin your herbal education with us, please comment below or send a direct message to request an enrollment application. I'd love to welcome you into our next circle of herbal learners 🌿🫶

October sits in that beautiful threshold between abundance and rest. There is still so much life here: herbs to gather, food to preserve, things to make and community to enjoy. Yet beneath it all, the earth is beginning to turn inward.
Our upcoming workshops are an invitation to be part of that season with us. Come spend a morning or evening at Mystic Ginger, learn something with your hands, gather around the table, meet someone new or bring a friend along with you.
There’s something special about stepping away from the usual routine and gathering together in a space made for learning, creating and connecting.
Take a look at what’s coming up, choose something that calls to you, and come gather with us this autumn.

• Autumn Hair Moodboard •
Colors found beneath the canopy where copper emulates ember leaves, blonde cascades in shades of flax, brunettes mimic earthen soil, and light falls in ribbons, dappling through braided brambles.
There is something ancient and ritualistic about having your hair tended to. A bit of time carved out to be cared for, adorned, renewed. Color woven through like dappled light, roots tended, ends refreshed, everything brought back into harmony. An hour or two (or three...) away from the noise of the world, emerging a little more luminous, a little more yourself ✨️
We're booking up for the remainder of the year. Our booking form can be found at the link in our bio. As always, feel free to call or text us with questions & inquiries at 856-563-6634 🫶

Kinroot School of Herbalism Level 2 began yesterday and I'm overjoyed with the energy and dedication my aspiring herbalists brought to their first session. I'm fascinated with their drive to learn more and desire to go deeper with their relationship with plants. Its such a joy to bring together folks from my various level 1 cohorts to form this "super group" of herbal learners!
Yesterday we reviewed a bit of our level 1 material & dove into observations & assessment... how to really think like an herbalist! I introduced our 10 herbs we will be deeply working with over the next 7 months and our textbook "Body Into Balance" By . After our break, we got to practice a bit with fictional profiles & teamed up for some assessment activities.
I'm SO inspired by the remarkable line of thinking these herbalism students and the unique lenses from which they view people & plants. I'm elated to see their growth over the next half year and can already feel how much I will be learning from them.
*Level 1 enrollment will be opening soon for January-May 2027 cohort. If you are interested, please send a dm or comment to get on my list of those to be notified. It will sell out quickly as I already have about half the spaces spoken for

Last night's Autumn Equinox gathering was so, so lovely. We explored the equinox through the lens of ecology and inner landscape, journeyed through an autumnal realm, visited a holy well, ancient trees, entangled grapevines, and communed with the garden oracle.
Our butterfly pea flower tea ceremony harmonized our energies and connected us with our intuition and spirit. Together we wrote out reflections, intentions, and shared our evening's experiences with one another.
These gatherings are so special. I'm deeply honored to host & guide such incredible groups of local folks so willing to trust and open themselves up to these experiences ✨️🤍🫶
I will be sharing this information as an online mini course in the coming week, so keep an eye out if you are interested in learning more about this work ✨️
Mysterious Ginger 🔮✨️ Welcome Autumn 🍂

Autumn Equinox is a portal. A time of transition and shapeshifting, shedding our summer skin, rooting down into the earth, harvesting what we've planted this year, and peering behind the veil.
A time to reach out beyond the edges of reality to rediscover and experience the truth of our lives and the roles we want to play in them as the seasons turn.
If you feel called to co-create your becoming, we have two divine opportunities to immerse yourself into the magic of the season with us:
✨️ 9/23 at 6:30pm Autumn Equinox Tea Ceremony & Meditation with Kellie D'Ascenzo
A quiet evening of tea, guided meditation, soul nourishment, and reflection. Shed what needs releasing and connect with your truest self beneath it all, invite in peace and clarity for your next season of life. Butterfly Pea Flower tea is a beautiful plant ally useful for soothing our nervous system and attuning to our intuition.
(two spaces remaining)
✨️9/27 at 6:30pm Sound Healing with Angela Fields
The Harvest Moon invites us to pause and recognize all that we’ve grown, experienced, and accomplished throughout the season. During this immersive sound bath, you’ll be gently guided through a meditation to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and reflect on what you’d like to carry into the season ahead. Angela incorporates a variety of sound instruments into her healing sessions, including Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, tuning forks, gongs, and other sacred instruments.
