Like most salons, we offer haircuts, colors, deep conditioning treatments, and perming services. Unique to Mythic is our approach to customer experience and accessibility. Our goal is to make your light shine through by helping you harness the power of your inner beauty. What does that mean? It means we want you to express yourself however feels right for you. If you want a classic cut or to emulate a celebrity style, we'll look at a few examples and make it happen. Feeling a drastic change coming on with a whole new look, bright colors, or a bold style you've never tried before? Bring it on! You want it, you got it. If your hair doesn't match the way you feel inside, we're here to bring the inside out. At the end of the day we want you to look in the mirror and love the person you see. We use gender-free pricing. All services are based off of time, grams of any chemical or color used, and techniques involved to complete the service. We ask for preferred names and pronouns. All walks of life are welcome here. The first thing you'll notice when you walk in the door is the art. We've surrounded ourselves with reminders of the principles on which we were founded. In the words of founder Shai Kirby, 'You will see a lot of Medusa imagery here. A tale that has been told for thousands of years, in many different ways. The way I chose to interpret the story is the version where Medusa was given her power in a way to protect herself, not as a punishment. This is my approach and love for my craft. I want every person that sits in my chair to leave feeling like their outer appearance is their power- their true self. Every person deserves to be respected and loved, and I aim to provide that space for them." From the moment you set up your appointment to the moment you walk out our front door, it's all about you. That's what makes us different. Our goal is not to make your hair look perfect for one day; our goal is to reintroduce you to the inner beauty and power the world has taken away. If you look in the mirror and feel proud of the self your hair expresses, our job is done.
