RedBeard Training Systems
Achieving people’s ideal physique and fitness goals through motivation, coaching, and accountability.
Signups for my strength coaching system close Thursday. This group starts Monday.
Fifteen weeks. Five lifts measured at the start, the same five measured at the end, and a system that adjusts as your life actually goes instead of assuming it goes perfectly.
If you've been on the fence, now's the time to ask questions. Message me and I'll tell you straight whether it's a fit.
A program can't tell you whether it worked.
It hands you the same sets and reps it hands everyone else. You run it, and a few months later you're left guessing whether anything actually changed. Maybe you feel better. Maybe the scale moved. Neither one tells you much.
It also can't tell you what to do when life gets in the way. It doesn't know you missed a week, or slept four hours, or that your shoulder has been bothering you.
What I use is a system. You know how and when to progress, and how to pull back when you need to. We measure five lifts at the start to set a baseline, everything gets built from there, and at the end we run that same test again.
Either they went up or they didn't. That's harder to hide behind, for you and for me.

Online coaching is open.
Fifteen weeks, starting September 21st. Applications open until September 17th. We test five lifts before we start anything, build the program off those numbers, and test the same five lifts at the end. Strength is what I'm promising. Body composition usually follows.
You get the programming, nutrition guidance, and someone actually watching how you respond and adjusting as we go.
Keeping this group limited to give each person real attention. Link is in the bio. If you have any questions, reach out and I'd be glad to chat.
A plan isn't a document. It's a decision you already made.
Disciplined people aren't deciding what's for dinner at six o'clock while they're starving. They knew yesterday. The decision was made when it was easy, so the hard moment doesn't require anything from them.
Without a plan you end up doing something different every time you train. New exercises, new order, whatever the machine that's open. It feels productive, but you never repeat anything long enough to get better at it. A year of that and you're in the same place you started.
Most days you don't need more discipline. You need fewer decisions.
Most people's training plan is a list. What to train, how often. That's the easy part.
A real plan tells you what you're training, how often, and how many reps. But it also tells you how to progress when something gets easy, how to scale it back when it doesn't, and what to do when you miss a session or show up under-recovered.
That's the difference between a plan and a system. A plan works on a good day. A system still works on a bad one.
What does your current training plan actually look like? Or are you winging it?
The best program is the one that survives a bad week.
Anything works when everything goes right. The test is what happens when work runs long, someone gets sick, and you're down to two sessions instead of four.
If your plan falls apart the second life gets difficult, it wasn't built for your life. Build it around the week you actually have, not the perfect one you wish you had.
You don't need more time in the gym. You need the time you have to count.
Most people's problem isn't the hour they're missing. It's that the hour they've got gets spent on things that don't move much. Long warmups, five exercises for the same muscle, sitting between sets scrolling.
Two or three focused sessions a week will beat five distracted ones. Pick the movements that cover the most ground, work them hard, progress them over time. That's most of it.
Busy doesn't mean you can't train. It means you can't afford to waste the training you do.
What’s the first thing to go when the week gets away from you?
