Hurricane Camille devastated the Mississippi Gulf Coast in August of 1969, and out of that, in a small living room in Pass Christian, Hillyer House was born in the spring of 1970. Hillyer House began as a family’s desire to contribute to rebuilding the community they loved, after a tragedy that destroyed nearly everything. For the first few years the shop was simply in place to help people replace those necessities they lost like furniture, and other household items. As the popularity of the shop grew, and the ladies love of retail developed, a move to downtown Pass Christian gave Hillyer House its first formal home.

Sierra has graced stages and TV screens the world over, and one thing she continues to show, aside from her beautiful smile, is her one-of-a-kind heart. ADDRESSING a Question asked regarding New York Fashion Week.

Walking in New York Fashion Week can be similar to participating in pageantry—you often pay for the opportunity to walk the runway.

I worked as a professional print model in the 1980s and earned $1,000 per shoot.

There is an important distinction: in a legitimate professional modeling job, the model is hired and paid to represent the designer’s clothing. The model does not pay for the privilege of wearing it and walking.

If you want to go, I think it's wonderful, but there is a difference. Don't confuse the two.
