As we head into the final months of the year, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every one of you for supporting UpRoot and allowing me to be part of your self-care, beauty, and wellness journey. ❤️

The relationships I have built with my clients mean so much to me. Your trust, your conversations, your stories, and the time we spend together are truly some of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

As a small, self-employed business owner, I am incredibly grateful for every appointment and every person who chooses to spend their time with me.

I also want to respectfully remind everyone about my cancellation policy. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as no-shows, are subject to a 50% charge of the scheduled service.

I don’t share this to be punitive. It is simply a necessary part of running a small, appointment-based business.

When an appointment is cancelled at the last minute or someone doesn’t show, I am often unable to fill that time with another client. That means I lose the opportunity to serve someone who may have been waiting for an opening, while also losing the income associated with those hours of my workday.

Giving 24 hours’ notice makes a tremendous difference. It allows me to offer that appointment to someone on my Waitlist, helping me accommodate more clients and provide better availability for everyone. ❤️
