In July, my body stopped me.
But the words and music didn’t.

They poured through me and I was lucky enough to have a friend sit beside me and write them down the week before I moved. Thank you

Today, in a church in Northern California, he and brought those words to life. And it warmed my heart in a way I can’t quite explain.

July looked like severe neck pain. Neuropathy. Fatigue. Emotional instability and unknown .
But underneath it all was something deeper, a quiet knowing that something in my life needed to change.

Only in the past few months have I begun to understand the why, as I’ve been quietly building a vision that feels aligned with who I’m becoming.

I still have hard days.
But I’m grateful for them. The hard days are my teachers and great reminders.

I’m grateful for a husband who supports the unraveling, who has seen and held me through it all and continues to meet me in my heart, and always saw the rainbow through my storms.

I now know this has happened so that one day I can support others in a way I had to learn how to support myself. And I now understood my teachers who have said “you can only meet someone else, as far as you have met yourself “ .

This song, for me, wasn’t religious.
It was about power within.
About self-love.
About the truth that, in the end, you are the one who saves you. You have to have faith in YOU.

I’ve always been a seeker. I’ve studied Buddhism, spirituality, Catholicism, Judaism. And no matter the path, I come back to the same thing: I am seeking love & connection , so I’m here for it all.

The teaches that breakdown can be breakthrough. When we stop numbing and start listening, something truer emerges. This season has reminded me again and again to go back, dig deeper, and allow rebirth.
