One of my favorite things about wedding mornings is creating a look that feels authentically you. For this bride, we embraced and enhanced her natural curls, creating a style that celebrated her beautiful texture rather than covering it up.

The bridesmaids each chose something a little different—from soft twists and romantic braids to elegant updos and half-up styles—and together it created such a gorgeous, personalized look for the day.

Hi! I'm Aubrey. 👋

I've spent more than 20 years helping brides start one of the biggest days of their lives, and I still love every minute of it.

I owned a salon for eight years before selling it, but wedding hair has always been my true passion. Today, I specialize in on-location bridal styling, which allows me to do what I love while maintaining the work-life balance I've worked hard to create.

When I'm not styling weddings, I organize annual education retreats for hairstylists, work part-time as a bartender and server, spend time with my family and dogs, enjoy paddle boarding, get lost in a good book, or tackle my latest house project.

Fun fact: My family and I spent two years living in Germany, and it sparked a lifelong love of travel and adventure.

"What should I do before my hair trial, and when can I schedule?"

After more than 20 years specializing in wedding hair, I've learned that a little preparation goes a long way toward making your trial productive, stress-free, and successful.

A few of my biggest recommendations:
✨ Bring inspiration photos (and send them ahead of time if possible!)
✨ Schedule your trial as close to the wedding day as you can.
✨ Come with a few styles you're open to discussing.
✨ Bring ALL of your accessories, including your veil.
✨ Let your stylist know in advance if you're planning to wear extensions.

Remember: your trial isn't about perfectly recreating a Pinterest photo. It's about creating a hairstyle that complements your dress, your hair type, your accessories, and most importantly—you.

One of the things I take the most pride in is creating beautiful styles while keeping the morning running smoothly and stress-free. No rushing, no panic, no running behind schedule—just a calm, organized timeline that allows everyone to enjoy the experience.

A rainy wedding morning somehow makes everything feel even more romantic ✨
