June News!

Faire Season is in full swing. Shasta Renaissance Faire was awesome! Our booth was situated conveniently close to the main stage so we got to watch/listen to some neat acts while making awesome hair art all weekend. Weather was hot but there was a pleasant breeze and we were under a big, shady tree. We were a little short staffed so I didn’t get to leave the booth to see the rest of the event, but I had so much fun that I’ll definitely be back in the future.

Oregon Renaissance Faire in Canby, OR is every weekend in June! I will only be in attendance for the final two weekends. I’m looking forward to that event but it will be my first time there. Looking forward to meeting new faces and seeing familiar ones!

Booking News!
Acuity Scheduling has just launched a dedicated waitlist feature!!! Now instead of replying to this email and me having to keep a notes app and remember things- there will be a waitlist button on the booking calendar page itself. I’m including some screenshots of what you should expect since theres only so much that I can adjust on the back end.

My bookings are open and available for June through September!

Here is my upcoming schedule:

June 6-14th: Full at the moment, with a couple of 30 min quickie cut type appointments, and some after hours availability (those after hours appointments are listed at the very bottom of the scheduling page). Try the new waitlist feature and be notified if your preferred date/time opens up automagically!

July 4-12th: Some scattered availability during the week still. Yes I’m working on the 4th. If you live off the island then you might have to detour around the parade 🎆

August 8-16th is available for booking! Limited weekend availability but get it while its hot!

September 5-13 is in pre-booking. Best bet for longer appointments and last chance for a weekend appointment.

October 12-15 and 19-22 Monday through Thursday appointments only, as I will be at NCRF every weekend in October. Not available yet but keep the dates in mind.

Events
Renaissance Faire Season is already upon us! Here is a list of upcoming events I will be braiding hair at to help you plan your season. There are more events in California, Oregon, and Washington than what I have listed here, but I very likely wont be at them due to scheduling conflicts:

Oregon Renaissance Faire: All Weekends in June, Clackamas Co. Fairgrounds, Canby OR. (I will be braiding only the final two weekends: June 20+21st, and 27+28th)

Canterbury Renaissance Faire: July 18+19th & 25+26th, Silverton, OR

Northern California Renaissance Faire: Six Weekends from September 19th through October 25th. Pacheco Pass Hwy, Hollister/Gilroy CA
