My name is Ayla (AY-la), and I'm the owner and stylist at Alpenglow Hair and Scalp Studio in beautiful Bend, OR.✨
I’ve been in the beauty industry for 20 years and have always loved creating dimensional, natural-looking color with a beautiful grow-out.
I introduced scalp treatments to Bend in 2019, long before they became the trend they are today. I love combining my knowledge of hair and scalp health with a relaxing, restorative experience—and seeing the difference it can make for both the scalp and the hair.
Alpenglow was inspired by growing up near the mountains of Wyoming and the soft golden light of an alpenglow sunset. I wanted to create a space that feels warm, peaceful, personal, and unrushed.
When I’m not behind the chair, I’m usually spending time with my family, traveling, baking, taking a barre class, doing a floral arrangement, and loving on my pets.

Today I’m feeling especially grateful for the fathers who have supported me and my business over the years.
When I first moved to Bend and dreamed about Alpenglow and offering Headspa treatments, my dad helped me purchase my very first microscope. That investment gave me the confidence to keep growing and pursuing this path.

My dad is no longer here, and I miss him deeply, but I see pieces of his encouragement in every step forward I take.

More recently, my husband and father-in-law have spent countless hours painting walls, building furniture, moving supplies, and helping bring my vision for Alpenglow Hair & Scalp Studio to life.
Behind every small business is a village of people who believe in you, encourage you, and lend a hand when you need it most. Today I'm celebrating and thanking the dads who have done exactly that for me.
