Dermaplaning: What to Know

Your hair will grow back—but it will NOT grow back thicker, darker or faster. Dermaplaning removes hair at the surface of the skin; it does not alter the hair follicle or change the type of hair your body produces. As your natural vellus hair grows back, it returns as it normally would.

Dermaplaning is also not permanent hair removal. It does not destroy the follicle or prevent future hair growth. Instead, think of it as an immediate skin-smoothing and exfoliating treatment that can be repeated as part of your regular skin-care routine.

Some clients may experience temporary pinkness, sensitivity, dryness or minor irritation following treatment. As with any exfoliating service, individual results and reactions can vary. We will evaluate your skin before treatment to make sure dermaplaning is appropriate for you.
