She said it approximately 47 times during her color analysis… and honestly, I get it.
There are no bad colors. Some colors just make you look a little more alive than others.
She’s a Spring, and when we put her best warm, bright, clear colors next to her face, you can literally watch her skin come to life. ✨

And the best part? It’s not magic. It’s color harmony.

Day in the Life — Part Two ✨
Now for the part of my day you probably don’t get to see as often—the studio!
My first client of the day was here for a Style Analysis. This is where we take a deeper look at how clothing can work for you—your proportions, lines, silhouettes, scale, and the details that create harmony with your features and natural structure.
We also determine your clothing personality, which is essentially the overall feeling and visual language that makes clothing feel most authentic to you. Her clothing personality is Natural Gamine, so we’re looking for a combination of relaxed, natural elements with the playful, crisp, youthful details of Gamine. It’s not about putting you in a box—it’s about giving you a framework for understanding why certain clothes feel so right.
My second client was here for a Color Analysis! 🌈
This is so much more than finding a few colors you look good in. We use precision draping to determine your natural season and sub-season, looking at things like undertone, depth, chroma, contrast, and harmony. From there, we identify your best colors, your WOW colors, metals, neutrals, makeup direction, and the colors that will make getting dressed and shopping so much easier.

The biggest benefit of color analysis is having clarity. Instead of constantly wondering, “Does this color look good on me?” you begin to understand exactly what works—and why. It can simplify your closet, make shopping easier, help you choose makeup and accessories with confidence, and ultimately make getting dressed a whole lot more enjoyable.
And then… it’s time to head home and switch back into Mom Life. 😂 Dinner, homework, all the usual evening chaos—and because apparently business owners don’t know how to fully turn their brains off, a little more admin work before calling it a night.

Just saw my youngest client yet! 🥹✨
This beautiful four-year-old was given a gift of a lifetime today — the gift of knowing exactly what colors make her shine.
She’s a beautiful Spring, and watching her light up as we draped her was the sweetest thing. 🌸 Her best colors are bright, warm, fresh, and full of life — and they were absolutely stunning on her!
I love that she gets to grow up knowing what works for her instead of spending years wondering why certain colors make her look tired or washed out. She’ll have the confidence to choose colors that complement her natural coloring, and hopefully, a whole lot of fun getting dressed along the way.
There’s something so special about giving a little girl this kind of confidence at such a young age. 💕 Knowing is the key to glowing — and this little Spring is already glowing!

How I dressed then vs. how I dress now that I know my best colors + personal style. ✨
The girl on the left used to hide behind black and baggy clothes.
I thought if my clothes were loose enough, dark enough, and didn’t draw too much attention, I’d feel more comfortable.
And honestly? Even after my own style analysis, it took me a minute to really step into my clothing personality.
Because somewhere along the way, I had decided that certain clothes were for other women.
Women who were thinner.
More confident.
Women who could “pull it off.”
Women who felt more worthy of being seen.
But my stylist saw something in me that I couldn’t see yet—and she drew it out of me.
Slowly, I started experimenting.
I started wearing my colors instead of defaulting to black. I chose silhouettes that gave my body shape instead of hiding it. I added accessories that felt like me. I started letting my clothes communicate my personality instead of using them as camouflage.
And somewhere along the way, getting dressed stopped being:
“How can I hide this?”
…and became:
“How can I highlight what I love?”
Today, I dress with confidence—even when the number on the scale isn’t my favorite number. 😜
Because I’ve learned I don’t have to wait for my body to change before I’m allowed to enjoy getting dressed.
I can dress the body I have today.
And THAT is one of my favorite things about helping other women.

Because when you know what works for you, getting dressed becomes less about hiding and so much more about being seen. ❤️

💄 Your lip color matters more than you think!
One of the most useful things you can know after a Color Analysis is your Three Points of Red—the three red/pink shades that harmonize best with your coloring.
🍂 Autumn: Coral • Warm Red • Rust
🌷 Spring: Coral • Warm Red • Warm & Bright Pink
🌸 Summer: Plum • Cool Red • Rose Pinks
❄️ Winter: Cool Red • Cool & Bright Pink • Burgundy
These colors become your go-to shades for lipstick, blush, clothing, and accessories—and they help you create a more intentional, harmonious look.
And here’s where it gets really fun…
If you’re a Summer and you’re wearing a top that has both plum AND cool red in it, you have options! You can choose either color for your lip because they both belong to your color family. 🙌🏻
But as a general rule, we don’t recommend mixing your points of red between your lips, clothing, and accessories. If your top is a warm coral, but your lipstick is a cool plum, those colors can start competing with each other instead of working together.
✨ The goal isn’t to match your lipstick exactly to your outfit. It’s to make sure the colors are speaking the same language.
