Happy Fall y’all… COME SEE ME! 🤣🤣🤣 this seriously made me laugh

Hey all - The Beehive will be closed today & tomorrow. Unfortunately, there was a fire this morning, in the apartment above us & we’ve ended up with lots of water & no electricity. I’m hopeful that things will be remedied by next week. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sheesh - I almost let the day slip away without thanking all of our friends, clients & family (most of you end up in the family catagory!!) for keeping us in business for another year !!! Today we start out 7th year of being The Beehive Salon - it’s crazy to think we’ve gotten through the last 2 years of pandemic & have continued to keep our doors open & welcome some new clients as well. We are so blessed to have all of you & thank you from the bottom of our hearts !!! So happy that Brenda Smith Govea took this crazy ride with me & I get to do what I love with with someone who is equally as crazy as I am (who am I kidding- she’s crazier!!). Anyway, we love you & appreciate all the support you’ve given us the last 6 years and look forward to seeing all of you soon !!

Happy Tuesday !!!! Just wanted to let everyone know The Beehive will be closed Wednesday, July 14th thru Monday, July 19th. Brenda & I will be heading to Mexico for 5 glorious days or relaxing & sun. We will both be back to work on Tuesday the 20th- unless we join a drug cartel or drink so much tequila that we miss our flight !!!! Tough call on both, but I don’t know if I’d be a good drug lord & I’m pretty sure that jail is NOT for me- but I do think I wouldn’t be killed immediately because I can do hair !!!! Well, I think it’s safe to say, no one is sad to see 2020 end. It was a rough year for all of us, but I do try to remind myself to be thankful for all of the good things in my life. I’m glad I got to spend some time at home with my kids - but not enough that I would kill them !!! I’m glad they had another home to go to- so I didn’t kill them !! I’m glad that I had a workplace to go to- to do what I love doing with one of my favorite crazy ladies - and not kill the kids !!! I’m thankful that Brenda has some weird hookup for Clorox wipes and we never ran out - really, who does she know ??? But most of all, I’m thankful for all of our wonderful clients, friends & family that continued to support us through the worst of the worst. Your generosity & kindness has overwhelmed us & made us feel hopeful for 2021. Wishing all of you a happy, HEALTHY New Year & looking forward to seeing everyone - maybe even one day without masks (though I do kinda like that it hides a double chin & no one can really see the faces we make underneath them!!). Ps- we love getting your cards & seeing how everyone’s family has changed !!
