Wisdom teeth can be impacted without causing any pain. Even when you feel completely fine, an impacted wisdom tooth can still affect the surrounding teeth and gums.
Regular dental exams and X-rays can help identify potential problems before they become painful.
At Advanced Oral Surgery, we’re here for you every step of the way—from evaluation to treatment and recovery.🦷💙✨

🦷 Cysts in the Mouth: Always Get Them Checked
Not every bump, lump, or unusual area in the mouth is something to ignore. Oral cysts can develop in the jawbone, gums, or soft tissues and may sometimes cause no symptoms at all.
While many oral cysts are benign, they can sometimes grow, damage surrounding bone or teeth, or require treatment. That’s why any persistent or unusual oral lesion should be evaluated.
At Advanced Oral Surgery, we also perform ORAL BIOPSIES when needed to help determine the nature of an abnormal tissue or lesion.

If you notice a bump, swelling, sore, or other unusual change in your mouth that doesn’t go away, don’t ignore it. Get it checked.

🦷 FUN FACT: Wisdom teeth can cause problems before you even realize it!
Wisdom teeth may need to be extracted when there isn’t enough room for them to properly grow in. They can put pressure on neighboring teeth, cause crowding, or become impacted.
When a wisdom tooth is partially erupted, food and bacteria can become trapped around the gum, leading to inflammation, infection, swelling, and pain.
That’s why your dentist or oral surgeon may recommend removing them before they cause bigger problems!
