Do you pluck stray hairs as they grow in? Did you know this causes even more stray hairs?

I didn’t know that and the first two years of me getting waxed, I always wondered why my hair growth never regulated. I thought I was just plucking the hairs that were missed and that I was actually helping my progress.

WRONG.

The removal of the hair from the root is what resets its individual growth cycle. When we wax, we remove every hair present and get it set onto the same cycle. These hairs will then take 1 1/2-2 weeks (maybe even longer) to begin growing back in again.

At the start of your waxing journey, you will notice hairs coming in just days after your wax. These are the hairs that have yet to be waxed. Please be patient and allow those hairs to stay until your next appointment, so they can reset along with all the others. It’s a process, but you have to allow that process if you want results that will last.

Hiiiiii guys 👋🏻🥰 I’m Mary, your friendly neighborhood waxer🙋🏻‍♀️

I was born and raised here in beautiful (😅) Bakersfield California. I grew up homeschooled until I went to west high for high school 💚💛 don’t worry though everyone gets surprised when I tell them that (I promise I’m normal) 😂

I never had the intention to become a waxer- I had a huge love for makeup all through high school, and my best friend and I would always dye my hair in my bathroom. So when I graduated I decided beauty school would be the perfect fit. It wasn’t until after my graduation that I realized I still had no idea what I was going to do with my license. There were so many options, but I decided to start at European wax center. It was a love hate relationship for sure but it was there that I discovered my love for waxing🫶🏻

I stayed there for about two years before I decided it was time to buckle down and really step my foot in this industry and get my own room at a salon. A scary but such a rewarding decision. I went on my own in May of 2022 and fast forward to January 2024, my friends and I opened our very own salon .co 🥹🥳

My girls 🩷 I’m so proud of us and what we’ve built so far. It was a crazy fast two months of planning and putting this all together and we DID IT.
