This year will be year 19 of my life / career behind the chair. Throughout, those years I’ve had pivotal moments in my career. To which I’m beyond grateful for. A little over a month ago, I got a call with an opportunity to work with US Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett for the Texas Senate Debate and with the makeup skills of . All thanks to for the referral. We made it happen. This was such a highlight for many reasons. Beyond, anyone’s own political beliefs/opinions. I was excited because the week prior while traveling on the road for work to work at Miss Gay America in Little Rock. I went from seeing her bus on the trail touring to being in the same room with her a week after. Yes, I got to share that fun fact with her because in the hustle and bustle that our careers take us. We all need that reminder that the hard work is seen and celebrated. Even, while she is having to split her time between campaigning / working in oversight committees as a sitting US congresswoman. Life has been non stop and I hadn’t shared this sooner. Today, is a big Voting Day in the Texas Primary. Yes, I’m a fan of both candidates for many reasons and I love seeing that voter turnout showing up for Texas this primary season. Today is last day to vote in this primary. Be sure to get your vote to that ballot box.
