Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Jackie attended cosmetology school at the Aveda Institute to become a hair stylist.
After graduating in 2012, she moved up to Austin, TX to work at an Aveda salon in the North Austin area. During her five years at the salon, she took numerous courses under some of the top names of Aveda. Focusing on current hair trends in coloring, cutting, and styling for both men and women. She assisted and learned from two Master stylists in the salon and worked her way up to becoming a Senior

Power was restored! Over this past weekend the power to the salon was thankfully restored and I was able to start taking appointments again ☺️ that being said, it seems we still may not be out of the woods yet. With the winds and rain that are still to come in the next couple days, has said this still poses a threat, some people are still without power and this could last until Sunday February 12th. Today, I am grateful for having power again and being able to see everyone’s smiling face in my chair ❤️

Winter storms in Texas be like…. How long did you say you wanted your stay-cation to be? 🥶❄️
Unfortunately, there are currently still power outages. My salon currently doesn’t have power so I will try again tomorrow to start rescheduling appointments! I hope everyone is safe and warm, thank you for your understanding and I hope to see y’all soon! ❤️❤️

As many of you already know, I have been requiring masks to be worn to enter the salon building and in my studio during appointments to keep us all safe and healthy, it is now a requirement by the governor to wear your mask in public and is punishable by a fine up to $250. Please stay safe and wear your mask!

First weekend down! Wearing a mask while working is weird but I’m so glad to be back home in my little studio and to see all of your wonderful faces again, or eyes I should say? 😅
