I am actively appealing the decision by Stripe to not allow us to accept HSA/FSA because our practice is "primarily focused on wellness and aesthetics" when it is all over our website that we diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions. Additionally, the one potentially qualifying service they noted was our purely aesthetic program "restorative oncology". So someone is either not reading or there is some sloppy AI evaluation happening. Or simply, they are not qualified to judge when someone should be denied or accepted.

This is concerning because people are being denied by their health insurance, seeking care in private clinics, and then having a "payment processor", not a medical professional, tell them they can't use their medical savings because they are not there for a medical diagnosis.

Can we leave medicine to the treating provider please???

Help me understand...

This is a bias turned monopoly that women are paying for. To say this is frustrating is an understatement and would like to know what I'm missing here....make it make sense.

Your forehead is NOT the same as everyone else’s. 👀

Different muscle sizes, asymmetric movement, varying strengths… no two frontalis muscles behave exactly alike.

One of my favorite tricks when mapping the forehead? Apply pressure to your marked injection points and watch what happens to the remaining movement. This helps reveal which areas are still active and where your treatment plan may need adjusting.

Because great Botox isn’t about following a cookie-cutter injection pattern. It’s about understanding the anatomy in front of you. 💉

You know the ones...the tiny areas of movement sitting right above the brows while the rest of the forehead is perfectly smooth.

They’re often a dead giveaway that you’ve had Botox.

But here’s the thing: they don’t have to stay there.

These little areas of residual movement can absolutely be treated. Your injector just needs to understand why they’re happening and have the knowledge and confidence to address them without compromising your brow position.

Good Botox is about balance, not leaving behind punctuation marks. 😉

I do think some people are starting to move away from making everyone look the same 🙏🏻 but I've definitely noticed this and feel it's a disservice to aesthetics, individuality and ethnicity.

Personally, my goal is to focus on restoring YOU, not changing you. There are features that make you unique and beautiful, and rather than taking away from those features, we are using them to our advantage to work around and enhance.

Anyhow, I'm curious if anyone else is noticing this and/or frustrated by it.

I've been on this AS NEEDED since 2015 and thank goodness for it! 🙏🏻 There's nothing worse than going to do a skill that you know you can execute perfectly and have your body sabotage you!

If you are a patient of mine you know I am very honest and transparent with you. I. AM. EXHAUSTED. It is so difficult to be positive and smiling day in and day out when I am putting out multiple fires constantly while being trampled on.
