In today's world, people confuse authenticity with oversharing. I've learned that being authentic doesn't mean giving everyone unlimited access to my life. Privacy isn't about hiding who I am—it's about being wise enough to decide who has earned the right to know certain parts of my life.

The more selective I've become about what I share, the more I've realized that protecting my peace, relationships, and reputation is one of the smartest things I can do. While it's perfectly fine to share parts of our lives, not everything belongs on social media or in casual conversation.

The strongest men aren't the ones who reveal everything—they're the ones who know what deserves privacy, who earn their trust, and when it's better to simply stay quiet. That said, do not discuss or reveal these:

Don't wait until you're the 'BREAKING NEWS' story -- like me! I was robbed because I made it easy for someone who lacked integrity.

Whether you're traveling across the world, working out at the gym, walking through a parking garage, or simply locking up your house before bed, make protecting yourself part of your routine. You don't have to be fearful, and you don't have to assume the worst about people, but you should make it as difficult as reasonably possible for someone else's bad decision to become your problem.

I’m giving you a behind-the-scenes look at what’s happening in my life and home. I’m finally tackling a home project I’ve wanted to do for a while. I’ve realized that one of the biggest upgrades you can make isn’t expensive furniture—it’s adding texture to your walls.

Before this last birthday, one of my biggest goals was to get into the best shape of my life—and I honestly feel like I've done it. Along with improving my diet, training consistently, and dialing in my lifestyle, I've also been paying close attention to my blood work.

The other night, my wife Tracey and I were having dinner with a friend who happens to be the superintendent of our local school system. At some point, Tracy asked him a simple question: “Where is the biggest need?” His answer hit me harder than I expected.
