I finally took my Wrap-a-Loc set down… and I’m impressed. 😍
The curls came out exactly how I hoped, and after trying the tools for the first time in a few years, here are my honest thoughts.
✨ If you’ve used pipe cleaners before, you’ll get a very similar curl pattern. The biggest difference is the tool itself.
The Wrap-a-Loc is made from flexible silicone with built-in grips that help keep your locs in place while wrapping. It’s reusable, gentle on the hair, and much easier to remove than pipe cleaners.
A few things I noticed:
• They were much more comfortable to sleep in (even though sleep still wasn’t my ministry 😂).
• Take down was quick and snag-free.
• My curls felt soft, bouncy, and lightweight.
The trade-off? The tools are an investment compared to pipe cleaners, and if you have longer locs like I do, I definitely wish they came in a longer sizes
